Just watched this. If you haven’t seen it and want to, there are spoilers below. If you haven’t seen it but don’t plan to, change your plans and go watch it. If you have seen it already, feel free to continue reading!
As per the weekly writing challenge I am to incorporate video into this weeks’ posts. SO. Yeah. This post is just to put video in it xD. This is the absolutely stunning Vincent Cassel. I love him so.
WASN’T IT AWESOME?! Oh my goodness. It blew my expectations right out of the water. It was amazing and dynamic and so much better than the movie. So much. It was beautiful. It sounded beautiful. The actors were amazing. The music. Everything. So so so so so beautiful. The only thing that could have made this better would be if I could have seen it in person. Maybe one day!
I woke up this morning to the most heart-wrenching news. I am a great fan of Dish Nation and, by proxy, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, and I learned Kidd passed away yesterday from a brain aneurysm. He brought so much laughter and so many smiles to such a huge audience on radio and on television. I am heartbroken at this loss though. He was only 53. Please pray for his family and friends and keep them in your thoughts
“For everything that happens in life — there is a season, a right time for everything under heaven: a time to be born, a time to die; a time to plant, a time to collect a harvest; a time to kill, a time to heal; a time to tear down, a time to build up; a time to cry, a time to laugh; a time to mourn, a time to dance; a time to scatter stones, a time to pile them up; a time for a warm embrace, a time for keeping your distance; a time to search, a time to give up as lost; a time to keep, a time to throw out; a time to tear apart, a time to bind together; a time to be quiet, a time to speak up; a time to love, a time to hate; a time to go to war, a time to make peace.”
– Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
“I always questioned if I was ready to adopt and then realized no child was ready to be an orphan.”
Your greatness is measured by your kindness; your education and intellect by your modesty; your ignorance is betrayed by your suspicions and prejudices, and your real caliber is measured by the consideration and tolerance you have for others.

Welcome to my blog. It is currently two in the morning…I should really be asleep right now, but I wanted to get this post up first. Anyhow, my name is Savannah and I am a 21-year-old English major…and I just wanted to start a blog! If you are wondering what you might [eventually] find here I cannot guarantee it will be any one thing. I am getting a lot into writing now so I will probably post some short stories and in the fall I will be taking a Directed Study in Haibun, so that is certain to show up here. I am a born-again Christian, so you can certainly expect things about my faith. I mean, look at my background. I have a few animals you may hear about time and again and I am a church goer so you can expect to hear reflections from Sunday sermons and Thursday fellowships. God is, of course, the focus of my life, so He will be pretty present in this blog. Anyway, I am going to the beach with the bestie tomorrow morning…or today…whatever. I’m going to sleep. Goodnight!
